Some believe private fostering agencies don't need monetary gifts — assuming state contract funds are sufficient. Unfortunately, state funds do not cover many of the benefits of childhood that foster children deserve. Private donations help bridge the gap.

Some people believe private fostering agencies don’t need monetary gifts. Their assumption is the money these agencies receive from their state contracts is sufficient. However, unfortunately, the funds from the state do not cover many of the benefits of childhood that foster children should enjoy as other children do. Private donations help bridge the gap.
